Zak Starkey Exits The Who Following “Critical Medical Emergency”

After almost 30 years, Zak Starkey has bid farewell to The Who.

The drummer, who’s the son of Ringo Starr, confirmed his exit from the English rock band after a “critical medical emergency,” regardless of latest experiences of drama throughout the 60-year outdated band.

“I’m very pleased with my close to 30 years with The Who,” he informed Folks. “Filling the footwear of my Godfather, ‘uncle Keith’ has been the largest honor and I stay their greatest fan. They’ve been like household to me.”

Starkey added, “In January, I suffered a critical medical emergency with blood clots in my proper bass drum calf. That is now fully healed and doesn’t have an effect on my drumming or operating.”
