It’s time to interrupt out the biscuits as Hannah Waddingham prepares to reprise her Ted Lasso function for Season 4.
The 2x Golden Globe nominee lately confirmed the long-gestating continuation of the Apple TV+ sequence will “begin capturing in July,” for which she has signed on to reprise her portrayal of AFC Richmond proprietor Rebecca Welton.
“We thought we’d mourned the loss, and now it’s rising from the lifeless!” she stated on Capital FM after Season 3 ended in 2023, presumed on the time to be the sequence finale.
“Our writers are actually Jedi Knights. They’re simply unimaginable,” added Waddingham. “And we’ve obtained like a full room of actual feminist males. So we’ve obtained all of the fabulous girls there, and the boys which might be in there, and I feel you actually see it within the scripts … it’s simply so fantastically drawn.
Apple renewed the sequence for Season 4 final 12 months, after co-creators Jason Sudeikis, Invoice Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly deliberate three seasons for the sequence.

Along with Waddingham and Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple and Jeremy Swift have been confirmed to reprise their roles in Season 4, which was greenlighted in March, seeing Sudeikis’ titular coach main a girls’s soccer group.
