Avalanche Sharks is a 2013 Canadian horror movie directed by Scott Wheeler from a screenplay by Keith Shaw (The Factor Beneath; Malibu Shark Assault; Ice Highway Terror).
The film stars Kate Nauta (Worry Clinic), Emily Addison, Alexander Mendeluk, Mika Brooks and Jack Cullison.
Plot:
After a snowboarder inadvertently begins a significant avalanche, the shifting snowfield uncovers and wakes a prehistoric “snow shark” which had been trapped beneath. The shark develops an urge for food for human flesh and the workers on the Twin Pines Ski Resort begins getting experiences of lacking folks and a wierd finned creature shifting below the snow.
Fearing monetary loss on what’s their busiest occasion day of the 12 months, the Bikini Snow Day, the Twin Pines administration tries to cover information of the lacking skiers and sightings of unfamiliar beings.
Catastrophe strikes as, one after the other, the bikini-clad snow bunnies grow to be meals for the shark. The avalanche has lower off the roads, trapping all throughout the Twin Pines Valley. The native sheriff allies with snowboarders to trace down the monster…
