EL SEGUNDO, California— The Los Angeles Lakers have signed rookie guard Chris Mañon to a two-way contract after his spectacular effort for Golden State’s NBA summer time league groups.
The Lakers reached a deal Thursday with Mañon, who spent final season at Vanderbilt after enjoying three years at Cornell. He averaged at the very least 1.7 steals per sport in all 4 of his collegiate seasons.

After going undrafted, Mañon performed for the Warriors on the California Basic and once more in Las Vegas this month, drawing consideration for his two-way play.
Mañon had eight factors, three rebounds, three steals and two blocks when Golden State beat the Lakers within the first sport of the California Basic. He completed with 9.0 factors, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks in seven summer time video games for the Warriors.
The Lakers re-signed huge man Christian Koloko to a two-way contract earlier this week. The deal for Mañon leaves them with yet another two-way contract out there.
