Chuba Hubbard’s stellar breakout season is sadly coming to an early finish.
The Carolina Panthers have positioned the star working again on the injured reserve with a calf and knee damage, ending his 2024 season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday.
It isn’t clear how or when the 25-year-old suffered the damage, however he practiced on Thursday in a restricted capability.
Hubbard had loved his greatest season within the NFL up so far, tallying 1,195 yards on the bottom with 10 dashing touchdowns whereas including 171 yards via the air with a receiving landing.
This was the primary season that the Edmonton, Alta. native, who’s in his fourth 12 months within the league, had crossed the 1,000-yard threshold.
